February 2022 – SO much to share! DERT is hiring a Program Coordinator, Jennifer Johnson shares an article about septic system maintenance, Puget Sound Nutrient Source reduction project, a virtual meeting to discuss the Skookumchuck dam, upcoming volunteer opportunities, and several articles on local environmental news!
January 2022 – A letter from the President of DERT’s Board of Directors, Dave Monthie; a reflection on past work and vision for the future from retiring Executive Director and DERT co-founder, Sue Patnude; an article on the Puget Sound Nutrients General Permit issued by the Department of Ecology; and information regarding a few important bills being considered by the legislature.
