What’s Up with SSHWP?

Budd Inlet and South Sound

Please join us for our first community of 2021 hosted on two dates – Wednesday, February 10th, and Tuesday, February 23rd.

The evening will begin with a brief discussion of DERT’s history and mission, our recent affiliation with Puget Soundkeeper Alliance (PSKA) with a presentation from PSKA staff, and an update on the Capitol “Lake”/Lower Deschutes Environmental Impact Statement. The main topic of the evening will be an introduction of DERT’s new South Sound Healthy Watershed Program (SSHWP). If you are interested in volunteering with DERT we encourage you to attend.
